I'm Alive

Hey ladies! I'm finally here. I know what you're thinking, "About freak'n time, Courtney!" Hey, better late than never. I've caught up on the blog and it's really great that you gals have been keeping this up. This is a great way to catch up and see what's been going on with you. Sounds like everything is going well and I couldn't be happier to hear that. Can you believe Sariah's got another bun in the oven! Slow down, girl. Wait up for the rest of us. On second thought, nevermind, that could be a while for some of us. So keep on truck'n. I hope you have a girl, but if you do - you can't use the names Ava or Savannah. Those are the two names I'm into right now. Even though Ryan hates Savannah, I'm keeping it in the running. I'm convinced he's gonna change his mind.


Anyway, I'm sitting in a hotel in Atlanta, GA tonight, getting ready to head back to California tomorrow. I've been on the road every week since the middle of October, so I'm very excited for this trend to end. I'm headed to New Jersey next week and then I don't have anything scheduled through the rest of the year. Yippee! Work has been going well, busy, as you can see. Ryan is also working like a dog - much longer hours than me. He's been in Boston this week, so I'm looking forward to meeting up with him tomorrow. If distance makes the heart grow fonder - then we're more in love than ever!


Oh, I'm running a half marathon this Saturday. I'm totally excited, and crossing my fingers that it doesn't rain. I don't think the run will be as enjoyable if it's cold and wet. I'll let you know how it goes.


I'm attaching some pics so you have proof that I'm still alive. The first couple are from Ryan's holiday party last weekend. It's always fun to dress up and party. Ryan actually got up and did karaoke with a friend. I couldn't believe it, but he was awesome. He sang Bon Jovi's "It's My Life." Compared to the drunken, deaf tones before him, Ryan sounded amazing.


















I'm also attaching some pics of our adventure to the Hollywood sign. We have a list of things to do and places to go around Southern California. The Hollywood sign is usually just something tourists do and locals don't ever think about, but it was a fun adventure - great view and some awesome homes in the surrounding hills.
